Program Spotlight: Sexual Assault Response Team – SART stands for Sexual Assault Response Team. It is a multidisciplinary team made up of victim advocates, law enforcement, prosecution, hospital staff, other community partners, and sexual assault advocates. The SART develops a protocol for dispatching sexual assault advocates to a scene when someone reports a sexual assault and provide advocacy and accompaniment in this process.
